Creator/Artist:

Damon Bryan Shackelford – As a former Officer Candidate in the United States Army, a graduate of the Disney Management School, a former restaurant owner, and now a civilian again Damon uses his collective and varying experiences to enhance his art. He stays connected to the Army through his oldest step-son who is on his second deployment in Iraq as an Infantryman newly minted E5 as well as various family-n-friends.

Damon earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentrating on both drawing and painting. He has been producing fine art, illustration, and graphic design for over twenty years. Damon earned a second degree in chemistry and is an inventor on over a dozen United States Patents in Polymer Science. This is what really pays the bills. This comic? Nope. It doesn’t make a dime. Instead, this comic is a way of giving back to our fine Army as well as to tell the soldiers story in a fresh way.

Tim Sisson – A 6 year Air Force Veteran Enliste he’s a Staff Sgt with experience in signals, photo intelligence, and computer programming. Training at joint military schools with the Navy in Colorado, by the Marines at Quantico and by the Army at Defense Acquisition University. 23 year veteran of IT for a major Aerospace firm. A observer of 3 sons in JROTC, ROTC, and a Captain in the Air Force. One understanding and long suffering wife. A sense of humor about life and the Military. A constant reader of all media, a lover of technology and a story teller supreme. The stories may not be his, but the interpretation always is. Most importantly contributor and collabotator of DBS for about a year.  His favorite fictional military character is Don Rickles the Supply SSgt Crapgame in Kelly’s Heros.
